COVINA — Charter Oak's baseball team had two runners on base and an opportunity to blow the game open in the fourth and fifth innings Friday afternoon, but Covina starting pitcher Declan Bowers limited the Chargers to one run in each of those innings. Both times Bowers found a way to maneuver out of jams and kept his team in the game.
